Greyshot Arch bridge is the location of one of the final scenes from the 2008 J.J. Abrams produced movie "Cloverfield". The movie uses a found footage style to great effect.
The bridge is one of many arch bridges found around Central Park in New York City and was built in 1860.
Synopsis of Scene (SPOILERS):
A monster, known as 'Clover' wreaks havoc all over New York City while a group of friends are at a party. After a harrowing night of survival, a couple are the only survivors after a helicopter crash and confrontation with Clover. Knowing the military is about to massively bomb the area to contain the monster, they seek refuge under the nearby Greyshot Arch bridge and say their goodbyes.
