When driving along the access road of I-10 and turning east onto Fulton Avenue to enter the Beacon Hill neighborhood, or coming from the west on Fulton Ave. already and going under the I-10 overpass to enter the neighborhood, you will cross over a bridge spanning Martinez Creek to enter the Beacon Hill area. As soon as you cross the creek, but before crossing the railroad track, look to your right (South) and you will see a medium sized warehouse painted white. This is where this TxDot ROW marker is found mounded close to the northwest corner of the warehouse.
The TxDot ROW STA. 528 disk is about 24 from the NW corner of the warehouse. It is about 20 feet East of the telephone pole at the edge of the bridge over Martinez Creek. It is about 150 feet West from the West rail of the railroad tracks that are just beyond the East side of the warehouse. The disk is close to the edge of the Fulton Avenue pavement. The disk is set flush with the pavement and has no covering.
The white warehouse appears to be part of the San Antonio Independent School District (SAISD), based upon the sign over the steps up to a door on the side of the warehouse. The street address on the sigh reads: 1306 Fulton Ave., San Antonio, Texas 78201.
