The Bethany Airport State Historic Site is the site of the oldest licensed airport in Connecticut. The site is now a public park, but it retains its historic character with a rebuilt hangar and the old air mail direction arrow on the ground.
On the front of the hangar are the GPS coordinates for the site as well as the elevation.
