The West Bank, unlike Luxor itself, has a quiet atmosphere of a suburb. It's also the best place for a traveler to be accomodated, closer to the main attractions and with all a tourist may need. Local residents and Muslim travelers will find here, the the Al Bairaat neighborhood, a small mosque. It's unnamed, not even marked in the most detailed maps. But the call for prayer sounds every given time, and locals walk into it for worshiping.
