From the parking lot on Innovation Drive, this adventure is 800 metres out and back. Take the trail through the Monk Environmental Park, crossing the bridge over Shirleys Brook. The bat house is on a tall aspen, to your right, once across the bridge.
This is the perfect spot for a bat house. The box faces south, providing warmth from the shining sun. This aspen is on the downstream edge of a vast wetland, offering so many insects for food.
This bat house was provided by l'École secondaire catholique Pierre-Savard.
