This wooden sculpture was donated by Canada in 1960 on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of Mexico's Independence. The great color stands out, characteristic of the pieces carved by the indigenous people of the northwest of the Canadian coasts, in which their history and lineage are represented. The Totem expresses the relationship of the aboriginal people with mysterious forces of nature. In 2014, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Mexico-Canada relations, the restoration of this monument was carried out. A collaboration of the Canadian Embassy in Mexico and the Government of Mexico City through the Ministry of the Environment.
