This headstone is for Evelyn G. Suell, who is buried at Mitchellville Cemetery on Route 259 in Mitchellville, Tennessee. The headstone states that Mrs. Suell was born on June 13, 1904 and died on August 30, 2010. She is buried next to her husband, Zack T. Suell, who lived from September 21, 1899 to July 26, 1978. A brief obituary is available online for Mrs. Suell, which says that she lived in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

In 1904, the year Evelyn was born, Theodore Roosevelt was president of the United States, Edward VII was King of the United Kingdom and Pius X was pope. That same year, the first underground line of the New York City Subway opened, Dr. Seuss was born, and the ice cream cone was invented. Throughout Evelyn's life many important national and world events occurred, including the World Wars, the rise of Communism in places like the Soviet Union, and the Great Depression, as well as many significant technological changes, such as the inventions of the automobile, telephone, and computers. In the year Evelyn died, Barack Obama was president. It's amazing how different the world was when she was born as compared to when she died.
