This LEED Certified Building is the Thornbrough Building of the University of Guelph in Guelph, Ontario. It was designated a Silver in 2015. It was project 12670 of the Canada Green Building Council. The LEED sign can be found at the east side of the Robert & Linda Adams Atrium.
It achieved 33 Points of a possible 70. Points included Water Efficient Landscaping, Using Recycled Content and Durable Wood, using Low-Emitting Materials and offering Alternative Transportation for Public Transport and Bike Storage.
Project Description
"The project consists of three new addition areas to provide both laboratory and teaching space, a substantial renovation of the Richards Building, and a strategic renovation of the Albert A. Thornbrough Building, which all form part of the University of Guelph's Engineering Complex."
