"The Franciscan convent of Our Lady of Divine Providence, or simply Divine Providence, is a conventual monastery of Poor Clare nuns of Divine Providence in Badalona. It was founded in the 1850s by Mother Teresa Arguyol and Fontseca from the headquarters located in the town of Gràcia, previously created in 1849. Throughout its history it has been dedicated to contemplation, charity and teaching, an activity that it abandoned at the end of the 20th century.

One of his most notable sisters was the venerable Coloma Martí i Valls (1860-1899), who is in the process of beatification.

As for the church, it is flat, without any ornamentation. The simple rectangular door, a niche, the stained glass oculus and a triangular pediment as a crown are aligned on the axis of symmetry. The bell tower has a belfry type. The interior is white and without decoration, it is just a nave with a heart at its feet. The apse is covered with a shell-shaped cap, being the only sector with decoration."
