Silas H. Martin was sixty-one years of age at the time of his death. His Woodmen of the World monument is styled as a vertical tree stump with cut branches, set on a base of four cut logs that are adorned with leaves and ivy. The traditional headstone for his spouse, Alice Martin, is just to the south.
