"The Gossipers at the corner of Saint-Paul and Saint-Dizier streets. It is a bronze by Rose-Aimée Bélanger representing three women, particularly expressive, who are seated on a bench and who are absorbed in conversation.

The work was created in 2002 and installed in its current location in 2006 as part of the operation to highlight the forgotten spaces of Old Montreal.

I tried to listen to what these beautiful women might be whispering, but their conversation will remain a great mystery."

"Les chuchoteuses à l’angle des rues Saint-Paul et Saint-Dizier. Il s'agit d'un bronze de Rose-Aimée Bélanger représentant trois femmes, particulièrement expressives, qui sont assises sur un banc et qui sont absorbées par la conversation.

L’œuvre a été réalisée en 2002 et installée à son emplacement actuel en 2006 dans le cadre de l’opération de mise en valeur des espaces oubliés du Vieux-Montréal.

J'ai bien essayé d'écouter ce que ces belles femmes pouvaient bien chuchoter, mais leur conversation restera un grand mystère."
