This large metal building (actually looks like a pair of metal buildings, with the east two-thirds added to a pre-existing building) houses the Zenda Rural Fire Department. The firehouse has one large eqeuipment bay on the west side, and on the south side there are four additional bays, one large and three a bit smaller. This firehouse serves both Zenda and the surrounding rural community. Note: Zenda was originally named Rochester and was founded upon the Rochester Township; that did not change when the town changed its own name to Zenda.
