Located in the Werner-Boyce Salt Springs State Park is a canoe and kayak launch used to travel to the Salt Spring and the Cauldron Spring within the park. This launch can also be used to travel the wetlands area of the park and the Gulf of Mexico.
The trip to the springs takes about two hours. You can bring your own watercraft or rent canoes and kayaks from the state park's vendor.

The closest parking lot is at 28.288817 -82.7197964 an additional parking lot is located at 28.2881466 -82.7190027.
The put-in launch area is approximately 1000 feet from the closest parking lot at the end of a coastal boardwalk. This boardwalk is sufficient for using wheeled launching equipment for canoes or kayaks.
