Alameda Cemetery is just about all that remains of the settlement of Alameda. The first burial here is Amanda Coffee, in 1860. The cemetery was expanded by five acres by land donated in 1911. A Texas Historical Marker near the entrance gives some history. The cemetery is well tended and active, continuing to serve the surrounding area.
