"This is the oldest modernist building in Santiago de Compostela, the home of the sculptor Ramón Núñez Fernández Matheu, built by Jesús López de Rego in 1905. Its owner was director of the School of Arts and Industries of Santiago, as well as a drawing teacher; Likewise, the architect was his colleague as a professor of Mechanics and Construction. The oval window stands out with the anthropomorphic male stipes and the two female effigies introduced in the roof finials. Both figurative elements are completely integrated into the architecture and are the work of the same owner of the house.
