The college is one of the smallest of the University of Durham with only 786 students who study Theology.
It was founded in 1909 and is housed within a number of interconnected old Georgian buildings along the street that leads to Durham University.
The arms consist of a shield divide into four quarters. The top left and bottom right quarters have a red cross on a white background.
The top right quarter is a gold eagle on a blue background and the bottom left is a gold lion standing on its hind legs, wearing a crown and on a blue background.
The motto is Fides Nostra Victoria (Our faith is our victory).
