"La actual Iglesia Parroquial de la Encarnación sustituyó a finales del siglo XVIII a la antigua colegiata que mandarón construir los Reyes Católicos.
El nuevo templo diseñado por Domingo lois de Monteagudo. de estilo neclásico y con planta de Cruz latina inscrita, fue consagrado el 4 de noviembre de cruz 1785.
La nave central se abre con bóveda de cañón con arcos fajones, mientras que las laterales, más bajas, lo hacen con pequeños bóvedas rebajadas.
La escultura de los reyes católicos presiden la fachada símbolo del patronato real heraldico por Carlos III, quien también coloco su escudo en el frontíspicio."

"The current Parish Church of La Encarnación replaced the old collegiate church that the Catholic Monarchs ordered to be built at the end of the 18th century.
The new temple designed by Domingo Lois de Monteagudo. Neclassical in style and with an inscribed Latin Cross plan, it was consecrated on November 4, 1785.
The central nave opens with a barrel vault with transverse arches, while the lower side naves do so with small lowered vaults.
The sculpture of the Catholic kings presides over the façade, a symbol of the royal heraldic patronage of Charles III, who also placed his shield on the frontispiece."
