The Acton Nature Center of Hood County is open to anyone who enjoys the peace and quiet of nature at its finest. The Nature Center features trails through both open and wooded areas, wildlife viewing blinds, and a butterfly garden. To reach this windmill take the Butterfly Trail. The windmill head is not attached to a pump and was spinning freely on the day of my visit.
