The Acton Nature Center of Hood County is open to anyone who enjoys the peace and quiet of nature at its finest. The Nature Center features several trails through both open and wooded areas. The Travis Hiking Trail begins at the north edge of the parking lot and takes hikers through a wooded area. There is a nature viewing house just up the trail here.
