The Legion Baseball Field at Emmaus Community Park was constructed in 1967 and had lights installed in 1987. At one time, it was the home of the Emmaus High School Hornets baseball team, but that relation ended in the 1990’s when the field no longer offered conditions acceptable to the School District to continue play at the Field. It continues to be the home of the Emmaus Legion and Junior Legion baseball teams, as well as a field used by in-house baseball programs sponsored by the Emmaus Youth Association.
It is a really nice field that the borough has been considering renovating numerous times over the past few decades.
Still, as big a business that HS sports are in the area, the Emmaus HS plays about 4 miles away at a swankier still field.
