Just east of LaBelle, Florida on the Caloosahatchee River is the Ortona Lock and Dam. This facility operated by the Army Corp of Engineers has a campground on the south side of the lock. The campground has 51 sites and located half way between the eastern and western sections of the campground is a book exchange. This book exchange is available to campers as well as day use visitors.
