What we see is a culverin, the culverin was a piece of artillery typical of the 16th and 17th centuries, which was characterized by having a long tube that measured up to 35 times its caliber. It was used both for land and to gun ships and there were several types.
Surely in this case we are talking about a half culverin or "berso" whose caliber was 9 to 12 pounds (4 to 5.44 kg) and the most used, because it was more easily handled.
