This trailhead for the North Country Trail is located along Route 321 at the intersection of Allegheny National Forest Road 122. The trailhead is at a parking area, large enough for a dozen or so vehicles. At the trailhead are two signboards. The NCT signboard includes a map, general information about the North Country Trail, specific information about the trail in McKean County, with bulletin board space. On the right post is the blue and white NCT tag. There is also another signboard at the trailhead, with a map of the nearby Kinzua Trail System.
