"Museo de Pintura y Escultura y Reloj, este centro cultural es de importancia vital para el pueblo de Pedro Abad, ya que en este lugar se encuentra la colección bibliográfica más importante de la comarca del Alto Guadalquivir.
El edificio fue antiguo ayuntamiento, siendo de construcción sencilla pero notable, posee una bella fachada de piedra molinaza con dintel.
Está ubicado en el centro de la localidad y destaca el hermoso reloj, fabricado en Sigüenza en el año 1927, que pese a su antigüedad funciona correctamente y es un de los pocos relojes existentes de esta fecha en España. Actualmente reconvertido en museo de Pintura y Escultura. En este edificio se exponen obras de D. Rodrigo Prieto y D. Augusto Dueñas".

"Pedro Abad es un municipio español de la provincia de Córdoba, Andalucía. Perteneciente a la comarca Alto Guadalquivir. En 2017 tenía una población de 2864 habitantes. Su extensión superficial es de 23,46 km² y tiene una densidad de 122,08 hab/km².
Configurado en el centro del Valle del Guadalquivir, y rodeado por un meandro de este río, que permitía en la antigüedad controlar el tránsito fluvial por las tierras circundantes, de un gran potencial agrícola. Además era un punto importante de intercambios comerciales y culturales. El término de Pedro Abad, formaba parte del municipio romano denominado SACILI MARTIALIUM. Esta antigua población estaba emplazada en el hoy llamado cortijo de Alcurrucén, siendo citada por Plinio (Naturalis Historia III, 10)."

The building was the old town hall, being of simple but notable construction, it has a beautiful millstone façade with a lintel.
It is located in the center of the town and highlights the beautiful clock, manufactured in Sigüenza in 1927, which despite its age works correctly and is one of the few existing clocks of this date in Spain. Currently converted into a Museum of Painting and Sculpture. In this building, works by Mr. Rodrigo Prieto and Mr. Augusto Dueñas are exhibited."
