The "art re use" project is the result of the activities of the associations ArtMap and Skutek, their goal is to create the main communication point in the recycling, distribution and transformation of useless gallery and art material into useful ones.
The warehouse, opened in 2021 in Chlumova Street, offers artists, galleries, theaters, students, non-profit and public benefit projects a material and tool background for creation, including "know-how" support and inspiration. The offered material for creation is free. The only condition is bring the donated material back to "second life".
At the same time, it also provides help to cultural institutions, companies and art schools with the meaningful redistribution of used or currently unnecessary material left over after the exhibition, installation, filming, performance or simply after cleaning the warehouse. This donated material is purposefully redistributed back into cultural life.
