The beginnings of the club's existence date back to the period before World War II, when it operated under the original name AÚTK - i.e. Academic Official Tennis Club. Its members were mostly also members of Sokol - Strašnice. In 1949, the tennis section was incorporated into TJ Kovoslužba Praha and later became one of the many sections of TJ Sokol - Žižkov.
Today there are 5 clay courts that are open throughout the summer season (April - October). The complex also includes a building with a clubhouse, changing rooms, billiards and table tennis tables.
