This peculiar elongated figure seems in harmony with itself but at the same time seems to want to escape from it. A special feature of this figure are the 6 fingers on the right hand.

I wish I was like this
This is a large man; maybe two times human size. With his long legs he is walking cautiously on the tips of his toes. His small head is looking carefully for places where to walk on. At his bowler you can see that this is a civil gentleman.
The arms are held straight for a better balance. The man has a raised and a withdrawn shoulder. The tension in his body makes clear that he finds this a little bit exciting. His concentration is focused on the small on the ground.
With a man you expect well-muscled legs which are acting. But this are long, sleek legs on a slim, attractive waistline. This man is sensitively focused on the other without a targetet action.
Being careful, courteous, careful, in touch. I wish I was more like that. I am glad with this great monument by Henk Visch.
