"El edificio San Juan de los Reyes, ubicado en el centro de la población, C/ Miguel Carralcázar, nº. 1, fue declarado Conjunto Histórico Artístico Nacional en 1982.
Aunque fué abandonado en 1990 por su deterioro, hasta esa fecha había tenido todo tipo de usos, desde hospital de beneficencia (ha sido uno de los más antiguos de la provincia de Granada) o guardería hasta residencia de ancianos.
Tras su remodelación -acometida por el Ayuntamiento y la Junta de Andalucía-, el 19 de marzo de 2010, la alcaldesa, Remedios Gámez, acompañada del delegado de la Junta de Andalucía en Granada, Jesús Huertas, y la vicepresidenta primera de la Diputación, Juana Rodríguez Masa, inauguraron este edificio del siglo XVI, que ahora vuelve a lucir en todo su esplendor, destinándolo, entre otras cosas y fundamentalmente, a albergar la sede administrativa y/o dependencias de todo lo relacionado con los SERVICIOS SOCIALES en este municipio, los cuales abarcan los aspectos siguientes:

2.- SERVICIOS SOCIALES MUNICIPALES

II.- Unidad de estancia diurna discapacitados i.
