This is one of two cannons outside the Oxford County Courthouse in Woodstock, Ontario. This one is on the left (west) side of the building. The cannon was created in 1844 by the BFCo as a British smoothbore muzzle loading cannon. The cannon has a marked weight of 66-0-14 (equivalent to over 7 thousand pounds) and has a millar pattern.
