In 2013 this Memorial to Communist Isolation was erected. One of the three elements is a fragment of the Berlin Wall, which was a gift from the City of Berlin to the people of Albania. The metal plaque in front of it offers the following information in Albanian and English language:

Memorial to Communist Isolation
- Fragment of the Berlin Wall Nr: 28/40, Potsdamer Platz (Berlin-Mitte), a gift to the people of Albania from the City of Berlin. The wall was built in 1961 and became a symbol of the isolation of the communist world. It was demolished in 1990.
- Bunker inscribed "TR III 1976 I" which guarded the main entrance to the segregated residential block where Enver Hoxha and the most senior communist officials lived from 1945 to 1991.
- Concrete supports from the gallery of the notorious mine of Soac, a forced labour camp for political prisoners from 1968 to 1990.
