Scottsdale Marsh and Pond are located on the west side of U.S. Highway 101 adjacent to the Rowland Boulevard Interchange in Novato, California. The freshwater wetland area is comprised of ±52 acres (includes ±10 acre pond)of emergent wetlands, seasonal wetlands, riparian, open water, and upland transitional habitat. The marsh and pond provide habitat for many species of waterfowl, shorebirds and animals, and the site is an important resting point for migratory waterfowl on the Pacific Flyway Wildlife Corridor.
