The Kiwarrak Forest was completely burnt out in November 2019, and the trails were closed for a while, as there were many hazards from burnt trees. All open again now. The car park at the coordinates has simple toilets and water. There are quite an array of different difficulty and length trails through the somewhat open forest. Ranging from 5km up to 30km loop. While it is in the Kiwarrak State Forest, the trails are under the management of the Manning-Great Lakes Tip Riders Mountain Bike Club (MGLTR). They are exclusively for Mountain Bikes.

They have 'the usual' Code of Conduct, and Conditions of Use as most Australian MTB trails. The large map shows some x85 trails that run through the various parts of the forest. Remember to take your own water (and tools) as it can be a long from assistance.

5km: A nice easy loop suited for all riders, 55m elevation change on Green trails.

10km: A little more challenging, need some experience on MTB trails, 155m elevation change on Green and Blue trails.

15km: Excellent for Intermediate rider, 265 elevation change on Green and Blue trails.

20km: More of a challenge, multiple TTF - Technical Trail Features, jumps, drops and rock gardens, 405m elevation on Green, Blue & Black.

30km Loop: Full of climbs and challenges, covers all corners of the MTB park. Elevation 700m on Green, Blue and Black trails.

While there is publicly known free RV camping allowed at Wingham Brush about 15km drive NW, if you are 'in the know' tent camping can be arranged much closer.
