In 1971, the company Berg Propulsion, which has its headquarters in the north of the island of Hönö, manufactured a 2m diameter controllable pitch ship's propeller of the 800/H4 series made of stainless steel. The four individual blades of the propeller are 800mm long and are attached around a 40cm diameter core.

This propeller was installed at Västra Vägen at the entrance to the harbor sometime after the merger with Caterpillar Propulsion in 2013, as the plaque attached to the propeller indicates. It was not possible for us to determine from the description whether the screw was ever used.
