The mass shooting at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde made International news. Videos of armed officers waiting in the hallways infuriated many, including parents who were pleading to be let in to save the children.

19 students and 2 teachers were fatally shot by an 18 year old with an AR-15 style rifle. Many more who were present at the school were injured. The gunman, Salvador Ramos, shot his grandmother in the face before taking her truck and crashing thru a barrier at Robb Elementary School. The first officers on the scene waited in the halls for over an hour as Salvador committed the mass shooting. The response by officers received heavy criticism, as well as investigations by numerous agencies. Parents outside the school were desperately trying to gain access to save their children, and were tackled and threatened with tasers by the armed officers.
