"Mother" is on the plinth of this beautiful marble headstone, with the dove at top center. Columns frame the inscription, which reads:

Nora Barrett
Nee Burden
Apr. 6, 1889
Jan. 22, 1914

Gone but not forgotten

Findagrave notes that "Burden" was actually her married name from her first husband, Walter Graham Burden, who is buried next to her with two of their children in the same row. Her second husband, George William Barrett, is buried in another cemetery in the area.
