Top of the hill on Mariehamn you will see Town Hall of Mariehamn. Mariehamn City Hall is located in Mariehamn on Åland and is the center of Mariehamn's city council and administration. The house was designed by architect Lars Sonck and built in 1939. Originally, there was also a fire station and an ambulance garage in the house.
On year 1989 was released stamp with picture of this Town Hall. If you compare picture taken 2023, decades later, you will notice large tree grown to the front. Waymark takes you into stairs where you can see Town Hall.
