"Se trata de una construcción de finales del siglo XIX erigida en 1891. Su artífice fue el vecino de esta localidad Francisco de Paula Gálvez Gómez en agradecimiento a la Virgen por haber salvado su vida del cólera morbo asiático en 1890.
Esta pequeña ermita presenta una única portada a los pies, por donde se accede al interior. De nave única, cuyo presbiterio aparece decorado con frescos que representan ángeles y motivos florales. El retablo mayor, realizado en madera, está presidido por la titular, siendo el resto de las imágenes de serie. En la actualidad, esta imagen es venerada por muchos gilenenses y es a ella a quien se dedica la feria del municipio.
Durante los años en los que se realizaron los trabajos de restauración, la imagen titular de Ntra. Sra. de la Salud fue trasladada a la Iglesia parroquial de la Inmaculada Concepción".

"It is a construction from the end of the 19th century erected in 1891. Its architect was the resident of this town Francisco de Paula Gálvez Gómez in gratitude to the Virgin for having saved his life from Asian morbid cholera in 1890.
This small hermitage has a single doorway at the foot, through which you access the interior. It has a single nave, whose presbytery is decorated with frescoes representing angels and floral motifs. The main altarpiece, made of wood, is presided over by the owner, with the rest of the images being standard. Currently, this image is venerated by many Gilenenses and it is to her that the municipality's fair is dedicated.
During the years in which the restoration work was carried out, the titular image of Our Lady of Health was transferred to the Parish Church of the Immaculate Conception."
