"A commemorative monument, built in the 60s of the 20th century, representing the sculptural image of São Teotónio, the Portuguese patron saint of Valença. The image is depicted standing, wearing cross robes and holding a mitre on his head, which is considered an iconographic error and contrary to what happens in other representations of the saint, where the mitre is removed, since Saint Teotónio had refused the bishopric."
