Lower Macungie Township is located in West Lehigh County and there are a surprising number of boundary markers along the edges of the township where roads meet the boundary. This particular marker is the border of Lower Macungie Township and Upper Milford Township. This marker is on the north side of St. Peter's Road just west of St. Peter's United Church of Christ.
Like all of the boundary markers in the area, it is made of cement and was erected in 1963. This boundary monument is in poor shape, seemingly hit by a vehicle that could not make the turn into the driveway. A reinforcing steel rod is all that is holding it up.
Type of survey mark: Stone Boundary Marker
What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?: About 200 ft west of the St. Peter's Church on the north side of the road, at the western edge of the Church cemetery.
What property is this mark defining?: The boundary between Upper Milford and Lower Macungie Townships.
