Hanging on the front facade of the Hillsville Diner at 525 N Main St, Hillsville, VA 24343 are two old style Coca-Cola signs. The first is rectangular and says "Drink Coca-Cola in bottles" and hangs above the front door. The second is a button type signs that is red displaying the classically shaped Coca-Cola bottle.
The diner is fairly famous in this section of Virginia. It is part of the Hillsville Historic District on the
NRHP and its description on the nomination form states: "The Hillsville Diner borders the northern edge of the district. It is one of the oldest in the state and one of only three streetcars in southwest Virginia that were converted to diners. Only this one and another one located in Chatham still serve customers. Probably built by the Tierny Diner Company in New York ca. 1936, It was brought to Hillsville in 1946, and since 1948 has been operated by the McPeak family. It operates from 5 a.m. untU 2 p.m. and is known for its pancakes and beef stew."
