There is the High School of Music (the oldest in Andalucía) in a Palace from XVII century in Córdoba.

BUILDING
"History
Integrated into the structure of the old Higher Conservatory of Music and Declamation , the Higher School of Dramatic Art dates back to 1947 after the creation of this type of studies by Miguel Salcedo Hierro . This center was dedicated to theater teaching. After many efforts made by its founder, in 1981 the autonomous character of the drama school itself was achieved, separating itself from the Conservatory of Music.

Starting in 1981, it was renamed the Higher School of Dramatic Art and Dance, as a unitary center with the current "Luis del Río" Professional Dance Conservatory, with which it shares the building. In 1995 the two separated, operating independently since then. On March 27, 2007, the School changed its name to the currently official "Miguel Salcedo Hierro" Higher School of Dramatic Art.

Facilities
The School has 16 classrooms, two audiovisual media rooms and a gym, a Workshop and several drawing and computer classrooms. It also has a professional theater, capable of accommodating 330 spectators, which has a stage measuring 10 x 16 m and a comb located at a height of 13 meters."
