This wooden windmill is just outside the Commanche Ranger Station - in Springfield, Colorado.

The Commanche Ranger Station serves one of the two districts of the Commanche National Grasslands. This wood windmill is on the west side of the building. The blade is free-spinning (not attached to anything like a pump) and was whirring merrily in a stiff breeze on the day of my visit.
