There are two grain elevator complexes on the west side of Highway 56 in Elkhart. The larger one to the southwest is the Elkhart CO-OP. This smaller complex, operated by Skyland Grain, is also impressive, with a score or more of old-style vertical silos and two large bins. Together they are a tribute to the productivity of the local farmers.
