"Grade II* Listed building mentioned in the Domesday Book and included in Pevsner's Shropshire Architectural Guide. The nave and chancel are 12th century and Norman in origin. The tower is early English 13th century and the porch is 14th century. Two of the bells are registered as historically significant and a yew tree in the grounds is considered to be of national importance."
