La torre del Miguelete (en valenciano, Torre del Micalet) es la torre campanario de la catedral de Valencia, España. La construcción de la torre se inicia en 1381 y finaliza en 1429. Por su complejidad y largos años de construcción, fue dirigida sucesivamente por varios maestros de obra.
El Miguelete es una torre de estilo gótico valenciano, tiene 51 m. de altura hasta la terraza, los mismos que mide su perímetro, y 63 m. en total. Tiene forma de prisma octogonal y posee 207 escalones.
Durante muchos siglos fue llamado «Campanar Nuevo» o «Campanar de la Catedral», para diferenciarlo del «Campanar Viejo», una torre de planta cuadrada y factura románica, ubicada en la calle de la Barchilla, y de cuyos muros quedan escasos restos.
Poco a poco fue transformándose su nombre en «Torre del Miguelete» por la gran campana que da las horas, llamada Miguelete. Es, pues, un caso de metonimia, por la que una parte (la campana) da nombre al todo (la torre).
Originalmente era una torre exenta, unida a la Catedral a finales del siglo xv al prolongarse la nave central. Tiene acceso por una portada angular adornada con arquivoltas y un paso cubierto con curiosas voltas nervadas. La torre, de planta octogonal, mide 50,85 m, siendo su perímetro igual a su altura, sobriamente decorada en el exterior por los prismáticos contrafuertes de las aristas y las finas molduras que señalan los diferentes niveles de los pisos.
El primer cuerpo es macizo, dejando solo el hueco helicoidal de la escalera; el segundo cuerpo tiene un recinto abovedado, que es la antigua «Prisión» o Asilo de la Catedral con un solo ventanal exterior; el tercer cuerpo es la «Casa del Campanero», otro recinto abovedado parecido al anterior aunque más grande y con dos ventanales. El piso superior es la sala de campanas abierta por 8 ventanales, 7 de ellos ocupados por las campanas. El octavo corresponde a la escalera de caracol, que a partir de aquí se hace más angosta.

El Miguelete is a Valencian Gothic style tower, it is 51 m. high up to the terrace, the same as its perimeter, and 63 m. total. It is shaped like an octagonal prism and has 207 steps.
For many centuries it was called "Campanar Nuevo" or "Campanar de la Catedral", to differentiate it from the "Campanar Viejo", a tower with a square plan and Romanesque construction, located on Barchilla Street, and of whose walls there are few remains.
Little by little, its name was transformed into "Torre del Miguelete" due to the great bell that strikes the hours, called Miguelete. It is, then, a case of metonymy, whereby a part (the bell) gives its name to the whole (the tower).
Originally it was a free-standing tower, joined to the Cathedral at the end of the 15th century by extending the central nave. It is accessed through an angular doorway adorned with archivolts and a passageway covered with curious ribbed voltas. The octagonal tower measures 50.85 m, its perimeter being equal to its height, soberly decorated on the outside by the prismatic buttresses on the edges and the fine moldings that mark the different levels of the floors.
The first body is solid, leaving only the helical stairwell; the second body has a vaulted enclosure, which is the old "Prison" or Asylum of the Cathedral with a single exterior window; The third body is the "Casa del Campanero", another vaulted enclosure similar to the previous one although larger and with two windows. The upper floor is the bell room opened by 8 windows, 7 of them occupied by the bells. The eighth corresponds to the spiral staircase, which narrows from here.
