Prescott fundamental bench mark in grounds of fort wellington, northwest angle of stockade, 41.8 m south of dibble street, 119 m east of vancoughnet street, tablet in top of monument.
To visit this stone marker, Parks Canada requires an entry fee for Fort Wellington. The marker is at the northwest angle of the fort's palisades. Atop the stone, there is a horizontal Geodetic Survey of Canada benchmark. On the east face, there is a vertical plaque.
The co-ordinates published in the public databases are incorrect.
