Douglas Cemetery is just east of Douglas, on both sides of SW 215th Road. The "old" cemetery is to the north, and the newer addition is on the south. This veterans memorial is at the south end of the new addition.

 Description of Memorial: The memorial is on the south edge of the cemetery. It consists of six flagpoles - the central one is the tallest and flies the U.S. Flag, and the other five fly the flags of the Five Armed Services. There are two monuments, bearing the text above, and the seal of the American Legion. The memorial is surrounded by a low wall and a garden.
