On the south side of King Street (old highway 2), there is the nautical flag pole for the Canadian Coast Guard, Central and Arctic Region, CCG Base Prescott. Presently, there is no gaff on this flag pole. On the yardarm flies the flag of the Canadian Coast Guard. Back in 2012, an additional flag flew on the yardarm, a special issue flag celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Canadian Coast Guard.
