[ES] “De estilo neoclásico, está construido en ladrillo con frontón y aletas curvas rematadas con bolas escurialenses, un escudo de la ciudad muy erosionado en granito y algunas reminiscencias mudéjares en sus estribos.
Situado en la parte baja del Castillo, este arco marcaba la entrada de la ciudad, al terminar el Puente de Medina.
Fue construido en 1769 como arco conmemorativo y restaurado en 1985.”

[EN] “Neoclassical in style, it is built in brick with a pediment and curved fins topped with Escurialense balls, a highly eroded granite shield of the city and some Mudejar reminiscences on its stirrups.
Located in the lower part of the Castle, this arch marked the entrance to the city, at the end of the Medina Bridge.
It was built in 1769 as a commemorative arch and restored in 1985.”
