The Ice Cream Barn opened in September of 2012 and quickly became a local favorite and a local obsession. The ice cream is made from milk from the local cows that reside on the Baker Farm property (a 6th generation family farm). The ice cream is made fresh on the site and all other ingredients are locally sourced.
"The Barn" is open from March through December. You can buy your Christmas tree and a scoop of ice cream!
They sell both ice cream and frozen yogurt. No soft serve. They have cones, bowls, shakes and sundaes. You can also buy by the pint and quart. And you can order online and they will have the pint or quart ready for you when you arrive. So many flavors and all delicious. Seasonal favorites, too.
The Ice Cream Barn also prides itself on zero waste packaging. "All of our packaging is made out of plants, which can compost naturally back into soil." (from their website)
